As a wife, mother, and small business owner, dressing for the day can often seem like an impossible task. How can you pick one outfit that feels appropriate for taking a 2 year old to the park, meeting with clients, and refurbishing a vintage end-table all in 8 hours?
I'm still trying to figure it out. But - my most recent solution is this: a simple maxi dress. I prefer a knit, stretchy material that won't wrinkle throughout the day, and gives me enough movement to feel comfortable. I can throw on a pair of sandles while at the park, dress it up with a nice wedge heal when I'm in the store, and use it as a full body blanket/night gown when I pass out from exhaustion at the end of the day!
